2023 archived sermon series: Winter/spring 2023 we engaged a NewTestament sermon series from the Beatitudes, entitles “Walking with Jesus through Difficulty and Loss“. After Easter, we continued in Matthew with an overview of Christ’s most famous sermon, “Mining Gold from the Sermon on the Mount” Over the summer, we began to prepare for an extended series on New Testament prophesy by examining the Olivet Discourse of Jesus from Matthew 24, entitled, “Assessing the State of our World“. In the falltime, we began a deep engagement with the book of Revelation, entitled “Plumbing the Depths of Revelation“. Each are available on our YouTube channel and website sermon archives.

As a lasting response to the covid situation, offerings plates continue to be available along the center aisle at the rear of our sanctuary for easy access. Communion will likewise remain “self-serve” in the foyer when entering church as we continue forward. The CLCC phone system was replaced late in 2020 with voIP, so we now have an assigned phone number (616-384-5781) as well as our longtime phone number (616-837-9781) in operation. Most of the time there is no one in the church office, so please leave a voicemail message or utilize the “contact us” tab on the website toolbar. Someone will be back in touch as soon as possible.

Please note the addition of a “Prayer Requests” tab to our homepage toolbar menu. If you have a prayer request, please open the tab and share your concerns. We will be discrete and faithful in upholding your needs before the Lord who hears and answers our humble petitions. Also, a prayer box with request cards is located outside the church entry for anyone that would like to share a request in that manner.
